This recipe comes from Philidelphia Cream Cheese Cookbook. The picture comes from Kraft Mine seem to ooze more than the picture. They are addictive. This recipe makes 4 dozen. Ingredients:
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese softened |
8 slices bacon, fried until crisp and than crumbled |
1/2 cup fresh grated parmesan reggiano |
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions |
1 tbsp milk |
garlic powder (optional) i added this to recipe because we love garlic |
2 cans (8 oz each) crescent dinner rolls |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Mix cream cheese, bacon crumbles, Parmesan cheese, onions, garlic powder, (if used) and milk until blended. 3. Separate dough into 8 rectangles; firmly press perforations together to seal. Spread each rectangle with 2 rounded TBSP of the cream cheese mixture. 4. Cut each rectangle in half diagonally; repeat with opposite corners. Cut in half crosswise to form 6 triangles. Roll up triangles, starting at short ends. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. 5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. |
