An quick easy but great tasting appetizer ......to serve for your next get together......................i had these during the holidays they were delicious ................... courtesy of pillsbury Ingredients:
1 - package( 8 ounces) of cream cheese softened |
8- slices of bacon cooked crisp and crumbled |
1/3- cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese |
1/4- cup finely chopped onion |
2- tablespoons chopped freh parsley |
1- tablespoon milk |
1- egg, beaten |
1- teaspoon cold water |
2- cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls |
poppy seeds for sprinkling |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees f............. 2. beat cream cheese, bacon, parmesan cheese, onion , parsley and milk in a small mixing bowl at medium speed with an electric mixer until well blended................ 3. separate dough into 8 rectangles; 4. press perforations together to seal 5. spread each together with 2 rounded meauring tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture................ 6. cut each triangle in half diagonally 7. repeat with opposite corners 8. cut in half crosswise to form 6 triangles.................. 9. roll up triangles, starting at short ends............... 10. place on greased cookie sheet 11. brush with combined egg and water 12. sprinkle with poppy sees 13. bake for 12- 15 minutes or until golden brown 14. serve immed............ 15. makes about 4 dozen appetizers |
