Perfect for a backyard movie night; preferably something with subtitles and/or directed by Federico Fellini. frankly fancy Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese |
4 ounces finely chopped bacon ('6 slices) |
beer (as needed) |
1/2 cup popcorn kernels |
butter (as desired) |
Directions:
1. Blend softened cream cheese with bacon. 2. Add a few tablespoons of beer gradually until mixture is soft enough to shape into balls. 3. Shape into 1-inch balls (or slightly smaller). Chill. 4. Just before serving, roll balls into buttered popcorn, pressing popcorn firmly into cheese. 5. Makes 2 dozen balls. 6. Visit frankly fancy for more photos and recipes like this one! |
