Ingredients:
2 bacon slices |
1 1/2 cups sliced onion |
1 teaspoon dried thyme |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1 (1-pound) italian cheese-flavored pizza crust (such as boboli) |
1/2 cup reduced-fat alfredo sauce (such as contadina) |
2 (6 1/2-ounce) cans chopped clams, drained |
1/3 cup (1 1/2 ounces) preshredded fresh parmesan cheese |
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°. 2. Cook bacon in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from pan; crumble. Set aside. Add onion and thyme to bacon drippings in pan; sauté 6 minutes over medium-high heat until lightly browned. Stir in pepper. Place crust on a baking sheet. Spread Alfredo sauce over crust; top with onion mixture, clams, bacon, and cheese. Bake at 400° for 12 minutes or until cheese melts. Sprinkle with parsley. |
