Backwoods Spinach Salad

Another recipe from my Land-O-Lake recipe book. This is a slightly sweet, warm bacon dressing tossed with spinach, wild rice and crispy radishes. I made this a few years back at a BBQ event, and it went well.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup wild rice, uncooked
8 slices bacon, cut into 1/2inch pieces
4 cups spinach leaves, torn
1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 cup radish, sliced
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
1. cook wild rice according to package directions.
2. in a 10 in skillet cook bacon over medium heat, until browned.
3. reserve 2 tablespoons of bacon fat, and discard the rest.
4. in same skillet add vinegar, salt, pepper, honey, and reserved bacon fat.
5. cook over medium heat stirring occasionally until heated through, about 3 to 4 minutes.
6. in large bowl combine remaining ingredients.
7. pour warm dressing over salad, toss to coat and serve.
