This babycorn pakoda can be taken as both starter and evening snack. Ingredients:
babycorn - 10 |
cornflour - 5 tbl |
maida(all purpose flour) - 5 tbl |
green chillies - 4 |
garlic pods - 6 |
ginger - 1/2 inch piece |
finely chopped coriander - 1 tbl |
oil - for frying |
salt - to taste |
Directions:
1. cut the babycorn lengthwise into two, set aside. 2. Grind the green chillies, garlic and ginger into fine paste. 3. combine maida, cornflour, salt , grinded paste , coriander and water to form a soft batter. 4. Heat oil in a skillet. 5. Dip each babycorn in the batter and fry until crisp and golden. 6. serve hot with tomato sauce. |
