Baby Bok Choy in Garlic Sauce |

Fast, easy way to make greens to go with any meal, and get that authenic Chinese food feel. Ingredients:
4 cups bok choy |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
1 tablespoon flour |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
Directions:
1. Separate baby bok choy. 2. Wash stems. 3. Cut large white stems off good green leaves. Discard any yellow or brown leaves 4. Dice white stems. 5. Boil a bit of water, and add stems, garlic, and soy sauce. 6. After 2-3 minutes, add coarsely shredded leaves. 7. Boil water down to about 1/2 cup. 8. Take out 2 tablespoons of the broth, add to the flour or corn starch in a container and shake well. 9. Stir bok choy and broth while drizzling starch mixture in. 10. Turn heat to medium and stir until sauce thickens. 11. Optionally add meat or noodles or other veggies. Sauce is great on almost anything. |
