This is a yummy Indonesian style fried chicken with spices. Ingredients:
1/2 inch turmeric |
1/2 inch gingerroot |
1 teaspoon coriander powder |
10 slices galangal |
3 red chilies |
15 small onions |
15 garlic cloves |
4 stalks lemongrass |
8 chicken thighs |
12 chicken wings |
1/2 tablespoon tamarind paste (mix with 1/2 cup water) |
Directions:
1. Fry ingredients with oil over slow fire for 15 minutes. 2. Add chicken and a bit of tamarind infused water. Fry for 15 minutes. 3. Add salt to taste. 4. Chicken will be slightly uncooked. 5. Heat frying pan with a lot of oil. When it's hot, put in chicken and fry to a brown colour. |
