I perfected this marinade after some tinkering about with various other recipes. This stuff is guaranteed to tenderize even the toughest steak cuts so they are juicy and delicious - mainly due to the marinating time so please marinate for at least the 24 hours. The flavours really come out on the barbecue. Ingredients:
1/4 cup soy sauce |
1/4 cup oyster sauce |
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
1/4 cup olive oil |
2 teaspoons dijon mustard |
2 tablespoons minced onions |
2 large garlic cloves, minced |
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme |
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients and marinate your steaks in it for 24 - 48 hours, depending on the cut. This quantity is enough for roughly 2 pounds of steak. |
