Awesome N' Easy Beef Stroganoff

This is one of my wife's specialties. With garlic bread, Caesar salad and a bottle of wine it makes a great meal. When we first living together, she would always make it as the beginnings of an evening of passion. It never missed, I always fell into her trap.... Still do (when the kids allow it)
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs boneless steak
2 (1 1/4 ounce) packets onion soup mix
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups water
1 cup red wine
1 cup sour cream
8 ounces fresh sliced mushrooms
1 lb fresh fettuccine pasta
Directions:
1. Cut steak into bite size pieces.
2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in heavy skillet.
3. Add beef and brown.
4. Sprinkle with flour and cook an additional minute.
5. Add water, wine, soup mix and bouillon and stir.
6. Transfer to casserole dish with lid and bake at 325°F for 3 hours.
7. Ensure it does not go dry by adding wine or water.
8. Fry mushrooms in pan with 1 tbsp olive oil.
9. Add mushrooms to mixture and return to oven for an hour.
10. Cook noodles as directed.
11. Remove mixture from oven and stir in sour cream.
12. Serve over noodles.
