Green beans with the meat of your choice. Don't be afraid to experiment with seasoning. This is a fun recipe! My family really enjoys the green beans. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 onion, finely chopped |
6 cloves garlic, finely chopped |
6 links spicy pork sausage, sliced |
1 cup water |
2 pounds frozen green beans |
seasoning salt to taste |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic until tender. Stir in sausage and cook until evenly brown. 2. Pour in water and bring to a boil. Stir in green beans; reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer until tender, about 30 minutes. Check water level often and add more as needed to prevent scorching. Season with salt to taste. |
