I needed a dish that would really leave and inpression at a pot luck . This dip really delivers . Trust me there will be no leftovers. Ingredients:
1 lb crab claw meat |
1 lb lump crabmeat |
1 cup frozen spinach (thawed and finely chopped) |
1 tablespoon garlic, chopped |
4 ounces fresh jalapenos, chopped |
1/8 tablespoon habanero pepper (optional) |
1/2 lb monterey jack cheese, shredded |
1/2 lb swiss cheese, shredded |
1/4 lb mild cheddar cheese, shredded |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon hot sauce |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/4 cup parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. Add the crabmeat, garlic, jalapenos,spinach, swiss, monterey jack, cheddar, worcestershire, hot sauce, salt, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and mayonnaise in a small crock pot . Toss gently to mix.Try not to break up crabmeat. Turn on low heat and allow to cook till heated . Once dip is hot turn off . Don’t allow mixture to over cook.Serve with tortilla chips . |
