I cut this recipe out from a magazine years ago and tweaked it a little bit to my tastes. It is my fav chili recipe. I won 1st place at the chili cook-off at work! :) Ingredients:
1 lb. honeysuckle white ground turkey |
1 lb. lean ground beef |
1 15 oz. can kidney beans |
1 15 oz. can black beans |
1 12 oz. can rotel-mild |
2 pkgs. chili seasoning mix |
1 4 oz. can diced green chilis |
3/4 sm. bottle of regular k.c. masterpiece or cattlemen's bbq sauce |
1 10 3/4 oz. jar nacho cheese |
1 sm. can tomato sauce |
tabasco sauce, to taste |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, brown and drain the ground turkey and beef. 2. Combine turkey and remaining ingredients in a crock pot. 3. Cook on high until chili is heated through (about an hour). 4. Cook longer on low for more intense flavor. 5. ENJOY! :) |
