I got this from a Safeway magazine back in 1997 or '98 i think - we had it once and then tore the house apart when i couldn't find the magazine again!! So here it is for the rest of you to enjoy and for me to know where it is, besides being in 2 different notebooks and my laptop in the kitchen hehehe Ingredients:
6 anchovies |
1 large garlic clove, peeled |
3 tablespoons parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1 1/2 tablespoons red wine vinegar |
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1 1/2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1/4 cup olive oil |
salt & pepper, freshly ground |
Directions:
1. mix first 3 ingredients in a food processor or blender. 2. add the rest of ingredients and continue mixing until smooth. 3. season to taste. 4. will keep in refrigerator for up to two weeks; if thickened, thin with a little water. |
