Awesome Broccoli/Cauliflower Salad |

This is a wonderful salad that is an often requested recipe. I usually substitute splenda for the sugar and light Miracle Whip works fine. The salad can be made the day before serving. Ingredients:
4 cups broccoli florets |
4 cups cauliflower florets |
1 sweet onion, chopped |
1 cup sliced water chestnuts |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated |
1/3 cup sugar |
1/2 cup bacon bits |
2 cups miracle whip |
1 teaspoon basil |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly. |
