Ingredients:
2 cups hot cooked hominy grits |
1 tablespoon lard |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 cups milk |
4 eggs, beaten |
1 cup sifted cornmeal |
Directions:
1. Combine hot grits, lard, and salt, stirring until lard is melted. Gradually stir in remaining ingredients, mixing until well blended. 2. Pour batter into a lightly greased 2-quart casserole. Bake at 325° for 1 hour or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. |
