Award-Winning Texas Chili |

This recipe (not mine, unfortunately) won 2nd place in a Texas chili cook off! Ingredients:
1 lb very coarsely ground venison or 1 lb ground beef |
1 small onion, chopped |
2 cloves garlic |
salt and pepper |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
4 tablespoons chili powder |
32 ounces water |
Directions:
1. Brown the first 4 ingredients in heavy cooking pot. 2. Add the last three ingredients and then heat to a hard fast boil. 3. Turn down and simmer for 45 minutes. |
