Award Winning Au Gratin Potatoes |

This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Ouzo Estate in Seagoville, Texas in 1982. Ingredients:
6 cups boiled potatoes diced |
1 can cream of celery soup |
1 can cheddar cheese soup |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1 teaspoon onion salt |
1 tablespoon dry minced onion |
1/8 teaspoon curry powder |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
8 ounce jar processed cheese |
2 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Place potatoes in a large mixing bowl. 2. Combine remaining ingredients in a heavy saucepan on medium heat stirring constantly. 3. When smooth and satiny in texture pour over potatoes coating them thoroughly. 4. Divide between 6 individual casseroles or custard cups. 5. Sprinkle top of each lightly with paprika and a bit of dry parsley flakes. 6. Place on a cookie sheet on the center rack of a 325 oven and bake uncovered for 40 minutes. |
