An easy to prepare recipe to help break the ice over pre-dinner drinks. Don't let on how easy it is to prepare! Ingredients:
1 avocado |
100 gms canned crabmeat or canned tuna |
cream cheese |
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice |
freshly milled black pepper |
black olives |
paprika |
Directions:
1. Cut the avocado in half and remove the stone (which is much too hard to eat anyway). 2. With a teaspoon, scoop out the flesh and place in a small bowl. Set the avocado skins aside (you will use them later). 3. Add the crabmeat (or tuna), lemon juice, a shake of black pepper and enough cream cheese to make a smooth blend. 4. Pile the mixture into the avocado skins. 5. Drizzle a little paprika over the avocado and garnish with a black olive. |
