Heart healthy avocados in a tasty salsa-great for garnishes & appetizers. Ingredients:
2 large avocados |
2 tomatoes (seeded and chopped fine) |
1 red onion (chopped fine) |
6 tablespoons fresh lime juice |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
2 teaspoons coarse sea salt |
1 jalapeno (seeded and minced) |
1 garlic clove |
1/2 teaspoon coarse black pepper |
Directions:
1. Halve, pit, and peel avocados. 2. Finely chop & stir in remaining ingredients. 3. Serve chilled. |
