This super simple recipe is loaded with healthy proteins and fats to start your day off right! Ingredients:
1/2 tablespoon olive oil |
7 tablespoons egg whites |
1 teaspoon paprika |
3 large basil leaves |
1/2 avocado, sliced |
2 tablespoons feta cheese, crumbled |
Directions:
1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a small pan over medium heat. 2. Mix the egg whites and paprika together; pour mixture into pan. 3. After one minute, place the basil leaves over the egg whites. 4. Once the egg whites start to form, spread out the sliced avocado on top and sprinkle with feta cheese. 5. Let cook for 3 minutes and then remove from heat. 6. Fold half of omelet over and serve. |
