I invented this today, when I started making a cherry smoothie. I had just finished pitting a bag of cherries, when I found I had no bananas left. Looking through my fridge for suitable alternatives, I spotted half an avocado that was starting to go dark. So I threw it in, and it worked brilliantly. Please note that I didn't actually measure any of the ingredients when I made this, I just threw things in, so any measurements I give are merely estimates. Ingredients:
1/2 an avocado |
1 cup cherries, pitted |
1/4 cup pineapple chunk |
50 ml dark grape juice |
1 scoop vanilla ice cream |
100 ml cream |
100 ml fruit yogurt |
500 ml milk |
1 tablespoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. No surprises here. Throw it all in a blender, and blend on high speed until smooth. 2. Consume, enjoy. |
