A cult-ish favorite among the most serious cocktail aficionados, this pre-prohibition era gin drink is making a comeback. Serve 'up' and garnish with a cherry. Ingredients:
2 fluid ounces gin |
1 tablespoon maraschino liqueur |
1/4 fluid ounce lemon juice |
1 cup ice |
maraschino cherry for garnish |
Directions:
1. Combine gin, maraschino liqueur, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Add ice, cover and shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
2. Garnish with maraschino cherry.
