This recipe is a variation on a recipe I found on . All of the ingredients are fresh which makes for a great authentic guacamole. Plus, also taught me that avocados are great for regulating blood sugar and cholesterol! As if we need an excuse to eat guacamole... Ingredients:
4 ripe avocados |
1 tablespoon lime juice |
1 diced garlic clove |
1/2 cup diced cilantro |
1/2 cup chopped green onion |
1/2 teaspoon cumin |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Cut avocados into halves. 2. Pit and peel the avocado halves. 3. Combine avocados and remaining ingredients in medium-large bowl. 4. With a fork, mash avocados and mix in ingredients to desired consistency. |
