While shopping at Le Creuset I had the luck of getting this recipe from the French salesman. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure it will be delicious. Ingredients:
500 g flour |
1 quart milk |
6 eggs |
2 tablespoons sugar |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
2 tablespoons rum extract (or 2 tablespoons any other flavor like vanilla and almond essence) |
Directions:
1. Quick note: He explained that beer would add some yeast to the mix. So if you'd like, instead of 1 quart of milk substitute some beer as well. 2. Mix together all of the ingredients (as few strokes as possible) and let sit for 2 hours. 3. Cook like you would any other pancake - when the edges look cooked, flip over. |
