1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar, sifted |
1 cup butter |

1 tsp vanilla extract |
1/2 tsp almond extract |
2 1/2 cups flour, sifted |
1 tsp baking soda |
1 tsp cream of tartar |
2 cups confectioners sugar, sifted |
1/2 tsp salt |
1 tsp vanilla extract |
1/2 tsp almond extract |
6 tbs cream |
Directions:
1. Cream sugar and butter. 2. Add egg and flavorings, mix well. 3. Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. 4. Mix well. 5. Refrigerate 2- 3 hours. 6. Preheat oven to 375 F. 7. Divide dough in half and roll 3/16 in. thick on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake 7-8 minutes or until delicately golden. 8. Do not over bake. 9. Place on cooling rack. Frost when cooled. 10. Frosting 11. Mix all in bowl. Add water if too thick. |
