This was a recipe that was given to my mother from my Aunt who passed away about 12 years ago. It sounds a little weird but is actually very, very good and easy to make! Ingredients:
2 (7 ounce) cans canned tuna, drained |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/4 cup sour cream |
1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
4 hoagie rolls |
1 (8 ounce) container margarine |
1 (8 ounce) package swiss cheese (or what ever cheese you prefer) |
Directions:
1. Combine first 6 ingredients. 2. Spread inside of bread w/ margarine or butter. 3. Spread inside of bread w/ tuna mixture & Swiss Cheese. 4. Wrap each sandwich individualy w/ foil. 5. Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes. |
