Aunt Sarah's No-Bake Chocolate Cookies |

This is my Aunt Sarah's recipe. It was and still is a favorite! Use more or less chocolate to taste. SOURCE: Aunt Sarah. Ingredients:
2 (6 ounce) packets tea biscuits |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2-2/3 cup cocoa powder |
1 1/2 cups milk |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Break biscuits into thirds. 2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium-high heat. 3. Add sugar and chocolate and mix until melted. 4. Add milk and eggs, mix and cook until it comes to a boil, stirring constantly. 5. Add vanilla and biscuits and mix until combined. 6. The cookies should break during mixing into small pieces. 7. Place mixture onto a large piece of foil, and form into a log, about 2 inches in diameter. 8. Wrap in foil and freeze for two hours, then slice and keep refrigerated. |
