Aunt Mimi's Pork Chops

This family recipe is a favorite. To make soy-free for my husband's allergies, we substitute 2 tsp fish sauce for the Worchestershire sauce
Ingredients:
6 pork chops
1 cup water
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Brown pork chops. Drain fat and place in a glass baking dish.
2. In a medium saucepan, combine remaining ingredients.
3. Simmer for two minutes.
4. Pour sauce over pork chops.
5. Cover with foil and bake 1.5 hours at 325 degrees F.
