This family recipe is a favorite. To make soy-free for my husband's allergies, we substitute 2 tsp fish sauce for the Worchestershire sauce Ingredients:
6 pork chops |
1 cup water |
1/4 cup dark brown sugar |
3 tablespoons cider vinegar |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Brown pork chops. Drain fat and place in a glass baking dish. 2. In a medium saucepan, combine remaining ingredients. 3. Simmer for two minutes. 4. Pour sauce over pork chops. 5. Cover with foil and bake 1.5 hours at 325 degrees F. |
