I don't generally like meatloaf. My Aunt Mary made this for me when I was visiting her and I found myself eating 1 whole pound of this marvelous dish. It is super easy and fabulously yummy. I make mine with ground venison as my family are avid hunter's. Ingredients:
nonstick cooking spray |
2 lbs lean ground beef |
1 (120 g) box chicken stove top stuffing mix, soak in warm water until just moist |
2 eggs |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 (455 ml) bottle kraft barbecue sauce, 1/2 bottle mixed in meatloaf. remainder to be poured over meatloaf |
1 tablespoon molasses |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce, may add more to your families taste |
garlic, to taste |
salt & pepper, to taste |
1 teaspoon fresh parsley |
Directions:
1. Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees Farenheit. 2. Spray Loaf Pans (2) with Cooking Spray. 3. Mix all ingredients by hand until well blended. 4. Place mixture in loaf pans. 5. Pour remaining 1/2 bottle of barbeque sauce over top of meatloaf. 6. Bake for 1.5 hours. |
