Aunt Lesley's Macaroni and Cheese Bake |

Making ordinary Mac and Cheese extraordianry. Ingredients:
2 (5 1/2 ounce) boxes kraft macaroni and cheese |
1/4 cup butter |
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk, skim |
1 1/2 cups skim milk |
2 cups cheddar cheese, divided |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
2 eggs, beaten |
Directions:
1. Cook macaroni in water as directed, drain. 2. In same saucepan macaroni was prepared in, melt butter, add milk, two macaroni and cheese cheese packets, 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, salt & pepper. 3. Stir in drained noodles. 4. Lastly, add beaten eggs. 5. Mix all ingredients well and pour into greased casserole dish. 6. sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese on top of casserole. 7. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes, allow to rest 10-15 minutes before serving. |
