Another recipe from the 1980 version of the Grace Evangelical Congregational Church cookbook from Muir, Pennsylvania that was given to me by my Nana when I became an adult. This recipe was submitted to the cookbook by my Aunt Jane. Ingredients:
1/2 cup whole wheat flour |
1 1/2 cups rolled oats |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 egg, beaten |
1 tablespoon oil |
1 tablespoon honey |
1 1/2 cups milk |
Directions:
1. Sift dry ingredients together. 2. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well mixed. 3. Pour onto waffle iron and bake until brown. |
