My Aunt Emy is a fantabulous baker!! These are her famous biscuits... always made on request. Delish! Ingredients:
3 cups flour |
1/2 cup crisco |
3 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Stir above dry ingredients together until well blended. 2. Add milk slowly and mix well. 3. Turn our thickened dough onto hard even surface and knead several times. 4. Roll out dough to approximately 1/2 inch thickness. 5. Fold dough over to form double thickness. 6. cut out in cylinder shapes. 7. bake at 400 degrees in ungreased pans for 10-15 minutes. |
