German Breakfast Pancake from San Francisco ALA Carte.
Ingredients:
6 eggs
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 lb butter, melted
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Lightly beat eggs with salt.
3. Gradually add flour and milk, blending until smooth.
4. Add sugar to mixture.
5. Pour melted butter into two 8 square pans.
6. Add half of batter to each pan.
7. Bake for 15 minutes until pancakes rise, puff, and are golden.
8. Lower temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit if pancakes are browning too fast.
9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
