Audrey's Favorite Beef Stew

My daughter Audrey always called this Carrot Stew as she loves the carrots in it, but really it is a beef/venison stew easily thrown together for the crockpot.
Ingredients:
3 lbs boneless beef roast, cubed
1 1/4 ounces dry onion soup mix
28 ounces diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons minute tapioca
5 potatoes, diced
1 onion, chopped
8 carrots, chopped
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
Directions:
1. Add everything to slow cooker (stir together) and cook on high 5 hours or low 9-10 hours.
2. I try to make sure all veggies are chopped about the same size for even cooking.
3. If I have a venison roast on hand, I substitute it in the recipe and no one knows!
