These are the beans I make for the Auction Kitchen. Ingredients:
4 gallons pork and beans |
4 lbs bacon |
12 bell peppers |
4 onions |
6 cups brown sugar |
4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
2 teaspoons dry mustard |
2 cups barbecue sauce |
Directions:
1. Cook diced bacon and remove. 2. Cook diced onion & peppers until tender, then remove. 3. Mix the remaining ingredients in the crock pots, then add the bacon, onion, and peppers. 4. Mix well, cook on low for 4 hours. |
