Cooling yoghurt dip to accompany a hot Indian dish Ingredients:
aubergine x 1 large cut into bitesize pieces |
natural yoghurt 250g |
garlic x 1 minced |
cumin seeds 1 tsp |
tumeric 1/4 tsp |
butter |
oil for deep frying |
Directions:
1. Deep fry aubergines 2. place on lots of kitchen paper to soak up excess oil 3. Put yoghurt & garlic in bowl mix well 4. Add aubergines 5. Melt butter add tumeric & butter 6. When spices start to sizzle pour over aubergine 7. Fold through 8. serve |
