Adapted from Quick Cooking. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 (5 ounce) package au gratin potatoes |
1 (15 1/4 ounce) can whole kernel corn, undrained |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, undrained |
3/4 cup milk |
1/2 cup water |
2 tablespoons taco seasoning |
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink and drain. 2. Stir in the potatoes and contents of sauce mix, corn, tomatoes, milk, water and taco seasoning. 3. Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish. 4. Cover and bake at 350° for 65-70 minutes or until potatoes are tender. 5. Sprinkle with cheese. 6. Bake, uncovered, 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. |
