I love these with a baked ham. Ingredients:
2 tablespoon butter or margarine |
2 tablespoons flour |
2 cup milk |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1 cup grated cheddar cheese |
12-15 small new potaotes peeled sliced n cooked slightly |
Directions:
1. Melt margarine in saucepan, add flour, stir until blended.Add milk gradually, stir until thickened. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in 3/4 cup cheese into white sauce. Place drained potatoes in baking dish,pour sauce over potatoes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 400 degrees until bubbly hot and freckled with borown, about 15 minutes. |
