I just whipped this up because I thought it would produce what I was craving... Ingredients:
2 medium potatoes |
1 medium onion |
2 -3 tablespoons butter |
4 -5 ounces velveeta cheese |
3 ounces american cheese (3 singles) |
1/4 cup milk |
salt, to taste |
pepper, to taste |
onion |
garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Peel potatoes. 2. Cut in thin slices (potato chip slices). 3. layer one layer on bottom of 8x8 dish. 4. sprinkle with salt pepper onion and garlic powder 5. evenly cover with chopped onion. 6. put 1 T butter evenly throughout the layer as well as velveeta. 7. repeat layers. 8. with a little extra velveeta on top layer and evenly place american cheese on top and pour milk over surface evenly as well. 9. cover with foil. 10. bake at 400 for 45 minutes. 11. Let sit for five to ten minutes. 12. Enjoy! |
