Atkin's Chicken Liver Pate

Atkin's Induction Phase I Appetizer or first course recipe.
Ingredients:
1/2 lb chicken livers
1/3 cup chicken broth reduced-sodium
1/4 cup green onion
1/8 tsp allspice, ground
1/4 cup unsalted sweet cream butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 cup heavy cream
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, combine chicken livers, broth, green onions and allspice.
2. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes until livers are cooked through.
3. Drain and cool 20 minutes.
4. Transfer mixture to a food processor, add butter and salt and process until smooth.
5. Transfer to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and freeze 10 minutes.
6. In a small bowl, beat the cream until stiff peaks form.
7. Fold cream into liver mixture.
8. Transfer a serving bowl and cover with plastic wrap;
9. refrigerate 1 hour until chilled.
