Asparagus With Sesame Seeds |

A yummy asparagus side dish. I also have used canned asparagus in this recipe. Ingredients:
1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed |
4 tablespoons water |
2 teaspoons reduced sodium soy sauce |
2 teaspoons olive oil |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 dash pepper |
2 teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted |
Directions:
1. Steam asparagus for 4-5 minutes or until crisp-tender. 2. Transfer to a serving dish. 3. Combine the water, soy sauce, oil, salt and pepper and drizzle over asparagus. 4. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. |
