Asparagus With Melting Brie |

From Jo Pratt's In The Mood For Food. Serve it as a starter or with a main. Not yet tried but we've got asparagus for dinner tonight, so... Ingredients:
8 -10 asparagus spears |
5 -6 slices ripe brie cheese |
salt |
butter |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat your grill / broiler to a medium heat. 2. Boil the asparagus for 2-4 minutes until just tender. Drain well. 3. Place the asparagus in an oven-proof serving dish and roll in the butter and a pinch of salt. 4. Lasy the slices of brie over the top and grill/broil until the brie has melted and is oozing over the asparagus. 5. Serve immediately. |
