Delicious asparagus done with ginger and herbs, Ingredients:
2lbs. asparagus |
1tbs. each chopped cilantro,mint,crystallized ginger and garlic |
1/4tsp salt |
1/8tsp pepper |
1tbs butter |
1tbs lime juice |
Directions:
1. Trim ends from asparagus. In bowl,toss asparagus spears with cilantro ,mint,ginger,garlic,salt and pepper Let marinate 15 mins. to infuse flavors. In non-stickskillet over med heat,melt butter . Saute asparagus in butter 10 mins. turning occasionally so spears cook evenly and begin to brown. 2. Remove asparagus to serving platter and drizzle with lime juice. Check seasoning;add salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with lime wedges and ginger. |
