Originally a WW recipe. Have not tried this cold but looks like it could be an interesting picnic dish that way. Ingredients:
12 asparagus spears, trimmed |
1 1/2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar |
1 tablespoon red onion, minced |
1/2 teaspoon canola oil |
1/4 teaspoon garlic, minced (jar) |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground |
Directions:
1. Steam asparagus until tender. 2. In small bowl combine vinegar, onion, oil, garlic and pepper. 3. Transfer asparagus to platter; top with vinegar mixture. |
