2 tablespoons sesame seeds |
1 tablespoon poppy seed |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 teaspoons dried onion flakes |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
1/4 cup white wine vinegar |
1/4 cup cider vinegar |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
12 asparagus spears, blanched in boiling water 2-3 minutes, and cut into 1-inch pieces |
1 lb baby spinach leaves |
3/4 cup slivered almonds |
Directions:
1. Combine dressing ingredients in a jar. 2. Cover and shake until well-blended. 3. Place asparagus and spinach in a large bowl and add dressing. 4. Toss to mix. 5. Sprinkle with almonds. |
