Yummy grilled asparagus with slivered almonds and a zest of lemon. Ingredients:
8 cups raw spinach |
3 cups asparagus |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
1/4 cup olive oil |
1/4 cup almonds |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. pour lemon and olive oil together in a cup. 2. pour over asparagus 3. sprinkle asparagus with salt, pepper, and garlic powder 4. grill asparagus for 5 minutes on each side 5. cut stems in thirds 6. return lemon and olive oil reserves in original cup 7. in a bowl combine spinach, almonds, and asparagus 8. drizzle lemon and olive oil reserves over salad 9. sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top and toss 10. eat and enjoy |
