Ingredients:
5 cloves garlic, minced |
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes |
3 dashes hot pepper sauce |
1/4 cup olive oil |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese |
1/2 lb cooked mostaccioli pasta |
1 lb fresh asparagus, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces |
Directions:
1. In a skillet, cook garlic, red pepper flakes and hot pepper sauce in oil and butter for 2-3 minutes. 2. Add asparagus and pepper. 3. Saute until asparagus is crisp-tender (about 8-10 minutes). 4. Add parmesan cheese; mix well. 5. Pour over hot pasta and toss to coat. 6. Sprinkle with additional shredded parmesan if desired. 7. Serve immediately. |
