No more asparagus falling through the grates of the grill. Works great on rings of onion too. Ingredients:
1 1/2-2 lbs. asparagus |
olive oil |
salt and pepper to taste |
garlic powder (optional) |
Directions:
1. Soak wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes 2. About 3/4-1 inch from end of asparagus, push skewer through and push to other end of skewer. 3. Repeat with 5 more asparagus 4. Take another skewer and from the other end of the asparagus do the same thing with all 5. Now it should look like a raft 6. 6 asparagus and two skewers 7. Brush with olive oil 8. Season with salt and pepper and garlic powder if desired 9. Grill over medium heat flipping once until done |
