Asparagus in Hazelnut Butter Sauce |

A very simple but elegant vegetable side dish. Works especially well with beef. Ingredients:
1 bunch asparagus, ends snapped off (approx 1 lb) |
3/4 cup chopped hazelnuts |
6 -8 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 2. Arrange asparagus in casserole dish. 3. Sprinkle with hazelnuts. 4. (Toss a bit to be sure nuts are evenly distributed.) Top randomly with pats of butter. 5. Bake for 30- 45 minutes. |
